What Makes Menstrual Health Education So Important?
Access. Agency. Community. Confidence. Dignity. Empowerment. Equity. We could go on.
As our Youth Trustee, Holly, described: “good menstrual health education is a cornerstone for equality.”
Educating young people on menstrual health not only helps people to make sense of what is happening in their bodies, but encourages empathy in all genders.
With knowledge comes access and opportunity to better menstrual care, and greater agency of your own body.
