Welcome to the MHP Newsletter
Happy 2025! A whole new year brings a whole new newsletter for us at MHP – we hope you’re as excited as we are!
This carefully curated newsletter will be delivered straight to your inbox every quarter, giving you insight into our plans and what we’ve been up to.
In every issue, you’ll see all of the lovely updates from our team, events, new materials and campaigns, and so much more.
But first, here’s a little introduction to us and what we do.
Who are MHP?
Menstrual Health Project (MHP) is a UK charity supporting people who experience menstrual health conditions and concerns. Providing educational toolkits in a digestible format, MHP helps people access medically accurate information about menstrual health.
Delivering workplace and school sessions, MHP bridges the gap between patient and professional by showcasing patient perspectives alongside the expertise of our Medical Advisory Board.
Our Mission is to provide practical support for those suffering from menstrual health concerns and conditions.
Our Vision is to create a world where menstrual health is no longer stigmatised or considered taboo.
How it Started
Our founders, Anna and Gabz, started as two Instagram friends who connected through their mutual struggle with endometriosis. They have become more like family and not ‘just’ cyber-pals – even their husbands and dogs are best friends!
After many conversations sharing their frustration, they decided to expand and build their advocacy work on social media. This was how Menstrual Health Project came to be!
As a charity, we strive to help people navigate these conditions more confidently, accurately, and comfortably – whatever stage in life they are at. MHP’s main aim is to improve the education and understanding of menstrual health within all educational and workplace settings.

“We are both incredibly passionate about advocating for not only ourselves, but others who suffer with hidden disabilities. We have used our platforms to educate, raise awareness, and support those with similar conditions as best as we can.”
Our Services
Toolkits
Menstrual Health education is essential for all genders. Not only does it empower people with knowledge, it also helps to drive positive change by reducing stigma and busting taboos.
With the expertise of our esteemed Medical Advisory Board, and in collaboration with BeYou, we have created two toolkits to support your menstrual health and wellbeing. These toolkits are full of accurate, digestible information on various aspects of your menstrual health.
From symptoms of various menstrual health conditions and concerns to treatment options and the diagnostic process, our toolkits offer comprehensive information, without the confusing medical jargon.
Sessions
We proudly offer menstrual health sessions for schools and workplaces, shining a light on everything you should have been taught about menstrual health.
Busting myths and taboos, the Menstrual Health Project can run in-person or online sessions for employees and students alike, tailoring the subject content appropriately.
Whether you’re hoping to gain a better insight into menstrual health conditions like adenomyosis and polycystic ovarian syndrome (PCOS) or hear real patient insights, MHP can personalise your session to your organisation’s needs.
We are passionate about bridging the gap between patient and professional, ensuring patients feel empowered with knowledge backed by our Medical Advisory Board.

Our Menstrual Health Education Survey
We’ve rolled out an anonymous survey to gauge the experiences of menstrual health education across the UK to present the data to government policymakers then.
We aim to ensure that the next generation is prepared and aware of their bodies, knowing how to identify when something isn’t right.
Please share across social media and with your loved ones to help us reach more people and drive change!

Surgical, Chemical, Natural — It’s Still Menopause.
In October 2024, we had our second annual Menopause Impacts All campaign, highlighting the different types and experiences of menopause. It’s wonderful that menopause awareness is growing, but we need to include everyone in the conversation.
We want to extend a huge thank you to everyone who joined our campaign by showing your support or sharing your story using the hashtag #MenopauseImpactsAll.
We will be bringing this campaign back later this year to continue shining a light on this important topic.
Supporting MHP
Without your generous support, MHP wouldn’t be what it is today, and we wouldn’t be able to provide the support that we do.
There are many ways to support the work we do to better menstrual health education at MHP. No action of support is too small, and everything makes a difference. Here are some of the many ways you can show your support:
- Sharing our resources with loved ones.
- Engaging on social media — shares, likes and comments go further than you think!
- Making a donation – any amount makes a difference.
- Community fundraising — from tattoo days to the New York Hyrox, everything helps!
- Corporate fundraising and volunteering.
